Supports Little Rock Air Force Base personnel with AFA Aerospace Education Foundation programs

Presents an AFA gift membership (or $50 savings bond if already a member) to each LRAFB Quarterly/Yearly award recipient

Supports Little Rock Air Force Base special events, such as Airlift Rodeo and Annual Air show

Presents $500 Pitsenbarger Awards to selected Community College of the Air Force graduates

Supports local schools to promote aerospace education

Presents the AFA Medal to a 3rd year AFJROTC Student at 8 local AFJROTC units at Beebe, Bryant Cabot, Jacksonville, Little Rock Central, Pine Bluff, Greenwood, Jonesboro, Green County Tech, and Osceola High Schools

Chapter members are assisting with the Flag Education Program. Members have presented the Flag Education class to fifth grade classes in every school in Pulaski County and to the Cabot schools in Lonoke County. Since the fall 2005, this team of dedicated patriots has given classes to 12,757 students

Presents a $1,000 Timothy W. Kehler scholarship to a graduating high school senior in chapter area

Funds the Civil Air Patrol Aerospace Education Grants supporting classrooms at Cabot, Jacksonville, Little Rock Central High Schools

Presents a Teacher of the Year Award to a selected area teacher who embellishes aerospace activities in the classroom. This teacher is also nominated for state, region and national levels of recognition

Promotes Community awareness of the USAF and Retiree/Veterans Programs

Quarterly programs provide opportunity to hear aerospace leaders

Supports Veterans with an AFA Information Booth at annual LRAFB Retiree Appreciation Day

Participates in local and Arkansas Memorial Day, 4th of July, Veterans Day, and Remember Pearl Harbor Day activities.

Publishes quarterly newsletter to all AFA members in Arkansas

Promote Community Partnerships - businesses that help support the Chapter activities throughout the year. 3.5% of our members are Community Partners
 

Membership (95.2% of membership are service connected members)

74.6% are Regular members (retired or previous service)

20.5% are active duty service members (AF/ANG/AFRC/any service)

1.1% are Cadets
