civilian organization promoting public understanding of aerospace power and the
role it plays in the security of our nation.
Who Is The AFA?
The Air Force
Association (AFA), formed after World War II, is an independent, nonprofit,
civilian organization primarily concerned with public understanding and
acceptance of the pivotal role a well-manned, well-equipped and well-trained Air
Force plays in the security of the nation and its allies and the relevance of
overall American military strength to global peace.
Organization
Our chapter is a part of the
Arkansas State Air Force Association; the South Central Region of the Air
Force Association, which includes chapters in Arkansas, Louisiana,
Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama; and the worldwide
Air Force Association.
Meetings
Our chapter meets the first Monday of each month at 12 noon at
Kings Restaurant across from the race track. All are invited.
